Silver Gore
Even though hardly anything is known about them and most links on the net lead nowhere, Silver Gore have already turned a few heads in the UK. The duo from London have been causing both a lot of questions and a stir for two years not only with songs such as the highly atmospheric ‘25 Meters’, but also with enigmatic images of a nymph in a dark ocean popping up everywhere. Drummer Ava Gore and Yorkshire-born guitarist Ethan P. Flynn have already performed immersive live shows at the Pitchfork Music Festival as well as at The Great Escape – shows characterised by virtuosity and professional performances. Lying stylistically somewhere between alternative rock, electronic pop references, and experimental influences, Silver Gore’s sound is as contemporary as it is referentially infused, but in any case, it is highly interesting and detached from the usual PR shenanigans. If you want to know what’s behind all this, you have to see this duo live with us in September.
