Deep bass rumbles through the streets past dark façades; no streetlights are on – only tosha’s voice casts a faint glow. It is a streamlined form of street rap that makes use of finely tuned trap beats and crystal-clear production to pump unbridled energy into every track. A tightrope walk between strength and vulnerability, between the courage to sort things out and the fear of a new beginning – not many female artists face their demons in this way. The confidence with which tosha nevertheless strikes a delicate balance, both lyrically and musically, is equally impressive on her latest single “Mon Ami” (2026).
