Tyler Ballgame
Tyler Ballgame describes his artistic approach as a radical devotion to the moment, to his own means of expression. The Los Angeles singer-songwriter only really hit the public eye last year - but he already sounds like a top-league act who’s been around for decades. Inspired by the great songwriters of the 60s and 70s, by Roy Orbison and Leonard Cohen, by Harry Nilsson and Paul Simon, Tyler Ballgame adorns his songs with a world-class vocal presence. Hardly surprising, then, that he bagged a deal with Rough Trade Records virtually overnight and attracted a loyal fan base last year with the magic of organic, handmade songs like ‘Radio’ or ‘Help Me Out’ (2024). Together with producers Jonathan Rado and Ryan Pollie, he is currently working on his debut album ‘For The First Time, Again’. At the same time, he's bringing his nostalgic, timeless indie pop to us in Hamburg and celebrating the renaissance of classic songwriting in an intimate atmosphere.
