Not quite rap, but not really indie pop either. Kind of thoughtful, possibly even melancholic, yet full of hope for a better future. Vince dances the fine line between conflicting emotions with inspiring ease. It takes someone with real musical knowledge to translate this sound to stages across Germany and then into songs like ‘Letzter Sommer’ (2024) and ‘Wacklige Beine’ (2025). On his debut EP ‘Kein Plan, aber davon ne Menge’ (2025), the singer and rapper is likeably modest, but still delivers the ideal soundtrack for the outlook on life of an entire generation. Vince responds to the mental and societal uncertainties of our time, the overhyped lifestyle offerings of social media, and the desire to just take a break from it all with music as an antidote. Works not only with Airpods, but also and most especially live on stage.
