Erlösmodelle Künstlermanager*innen der Zukunft

Sessions / Workshop / Sound & Society / Advanced

Artist managers participate in the proceeds of their artists. If artists are successful, the long-established participation model also works. But in times of streaming revenues instead of CD sales and 360-degree contracts, it is not only artists who are finding it increasingly difficult to make a living from their revenues today, especially when they are at the beginning of their careers. This is all the more true for artist managers, whose areas of responsibility have also expanded considerably. Is the learned business model "artist manager" at the end of the line? What possibilities are there to position yourself economically and legally as an artist manager in the future in such a way that both parties can live well with it? The "Musikmanager & Consulting e.V.", an association of music managers and consulting companies (IMUC) will examine the different models and possibilities, question business models and seek answers. Outcome open. IMUC will publish the results after the event.

This session will be held in German.

Moderator: Wolfgang Weyand (Vorstandsvorsitzender IMUC e.V.)

Speaker: Timo Holstein, Pino Brönner (beide Vorstand IMUC e.V.), Anna Bustorf (Anna PR)
