Budde Music presents: Music Supervision in the Streaming Age - The OFF CAMPUS Story
A case study in sound, storytelling and global streaming
For this Reeperbahn Festival panel, we have invited the two music supervisors behind Off Campus to explore how music finds its way into a streaming series — from the first creative idea to the final placement.
The series became one of Prime Video’s biggest launches ever, reaching 36 million viewers worldwide within its first 12 days and ranking as the platform’s third most-watched debut season. It was also Prime Video’s biggest debut among women aged 18–34.
Together, we’ll look at what made Off Campus connect so strongly with its audience, and at the role music played in shaping its emotional world, identity and cultural impact. We’ll explore the thinking, collaboration and intuition behind the choices — and how the right song can bring an unknown artist to the attention of millions.
This is the original reason many of us are drawn to sync: the chance to connect great music with powerful stories, help artists be heard and sometimes give their careers a whole new beginning.
