KI in der Musik – Zwischen Inspiration, Innovation und Irritation
Von intelligenten Tools bis zum vollautomatisierten Songwriting in gefühlten 5 Sekunden – und wir so?
AI is changing how music is created and how we as a society (will) think about art and artists. Above all, however, it is displacing certainties. That our own voice can only be produced by ourselves, for example.
For more than a hundred years, humans, music and technology have been leading each other into ever new spheres, but the speed at which AI is entering the world of music at all levels is so breathtaking that it's hard to know where to listen first, where to look, where to get excited and where to raise a finger. Voice clones, digital twins, completely virtual bands - will there still be such a thing as artistic identity, authorship, licensing and trust in the future?
How do we ensure that the grand vision goes hand in hand with responsibility? And in view of the global AI race in Germany and Europe, are constellations and contexts conceivable in which technological innovation alone should take precedence?
