London-based musician and producer Tony Njoku presents his new album All Our Knives Are Always Sharp: a work that blends introspection, resistance and aesthetic freedom.
Afterwards, Tony Njoku will talk to Berlin-based singer-songwriter, composer and performer FAYIM about creative independence in the music business, grassroots initiatives and the use of technologies such as AI in the creative process. Together, they will also take a look at the opportunities – and challenges – for Black musicians in a changing music industry. Concert and conversation merge into a combination that not only wants to be heard, but also thought about further.
