European regulations give everyone the right to access the personal data companies hold about them, but few people actually request it. I submitted data access requests to platforms like TikTok or Google, and parsed the messy results with the help of GenAI and simple scripts. In this talk, I will share surprising discoveries, practical decoding tips, and insights into what these platforms really know. Not just about me, but about all of us.
