WHO IS CHICHI? Rapper. Host. Global Connector. Creative force. And a Baddie in every sense of the word. CHICHI is Hamburg by choice and, since 2026, has been based between Hamburg and Berlin. But she doesn’t just step onto stages herself – she creates them for others, too. With CHICHI aus der Schanze in 2024, she showed just how closely music, culture and community are connected in her world. Alongside her own career as an artist, CHICHI actively creates and supports spaces for art and culture. Through her own events and formats, including Artist Room and Drops so High, she brings together people, scenes and creative worlds that might otherwise never cross paths.CHICHI calls herself a Global Connector – because for her, bringing people together isn’t a networking buzzword. It’s part of who she is and part of her art. She breaks down the boundaries between different bubbles and creates spaces where a single encounter can turn into a new story, collaboration or connection. And she brings exactly that energy to the stage. CHICHI is a rapper, host, crowd worker and entertainer all at once. Her shows don’t follow the traditional idea of artist up here, audience down there. She talks to people, pulls them into her world and turns a crowd into a community. At the heart of her music is self-love – but not the polished, picture-perfect version of it. CHICHI says out loud what people are often too embarrassed to admit: desire, contradictions, ego, sexuality, vulnerability and that unapologetic feeling of choosing and celebrating yourself anyway. She doesn’t turn it into a perfect empowerment slogan. She turns it into music. That’s why Baddie Season is more than an aesthetic. It’s the world CHICHI is building around the woman she already is: self-determined, loud, loving, provocative, sexy, entrepreneurial and deeply connected to the people around her. Following Shake, her last release in May, things became deliberately quieter on the release front. Behind the scenes, however, CHICHI has spent the past six months creating an entirely new chapter of music. Towards the end of the year, she’ll be stepping fully back into release mode. At Reeperbahn Festival, audiences will get the first glimpse of what’s coming next. Rather than playing a traditional best-of set, CHICHI will bring a selection of brand-new, largely unreleased music to the stage. After some time away from performing live, this isn’t simply CHICHI returning as the artist people already knew. It’s a first look at who she’s becoming next.
