Daniel Brandt & Eternal Something

Music Contemporary, Electronic/Live Berlin, Germany

Presented by: Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, ZEIT Hamburg

Registration for this concert at the Elbphilharmonie is now closed.

Daniel Brandt gigs this year at Reeperbahn Festival with a new project, called Eternal Something. Brandt is part of the Berlin techno bunch Brandt Brauer Frick. Since the end of the nineties the trio further developed electronic dance music by at first recording their music in an old fashioned way, then sampling it and turned to playing it live with real instruments.

Brandt, a multi-instrumentalist, is a genius producer and as a remix artist he has a sense for extraordinary sound textures. At Soundcloud a whole hard drive of his works can be streamed, like "Chaparral Mesa" or the brand-new "Eternal Something". Daniel Brandt has also recorded works by contemporary composers such as Steve Reich or Terry Riley. He is one of the most thrilling German electronica artists playing this year's Festival.
