Echo Collective

Music / Contemporary, Classical / Belgium

Presented by: Yellow Lounge

Thanks to their organic, but also incredibly futuristic sound, and their classic instrumentation combined with modern production value, the boys and girls of Echo Collective are highly sought-after collaborators for the sound visionaries of our time.

In addition to Johann Johannsson and Daniel O’Sullivan, the Belgian ensemble has also worked with The Lid, Erasure, and A Winged Victory for the Sullen. Founded by Margaret Hermant and Neil Leiter, the collective released its debut “Echo Collective Plays Amnesiac” last year. The songs are reinterpretations of the Radiohead album “Amnesiac” – brilliant ensemble versions that show that classic, orchestral arrangements can make the leap to becoming thoroughly rousing contemporary music. Especially in the context of an intense live experience.
