Music / Indie, Singer-Songwriter / United Kingdom

It was only four years ago that Imogen, hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne, took off on a vertical rise across all of the UK’s relevant channels with her debut “Faze Green”: BBC Radio 1, 6Music and BBC Introducing hyped the young singer immediately and lastingly – to this day. With her crystal-clear timbre, IMOGEN has amassed millions of streams on popular platforms and was able to woo the British press with her second EP “Bloodbag” last year as well. Organic instrumentation, unconventional arrangements and an outstanding nose for melodies characterise Imogen’s sound, in which her influences are ever evident but never copied: from Nick Cave and Bat For Lashes to Feist, the impressions left on her are palpable. But the talented Brit draws inspiration from these to create her very own narrative which at one point will swing along to the drama of the moment just to take a bittersweet turn a little later. Regardless of where it might go: this woman’s music will take you with it.
