Music / Pop / Hamburg, Germany

Putting all your eggs in one basket; taking risks even though you're broke; trusting in your abilities: Not many musicians manage to walk that kind of career path without falling on their faces. But Lejo can: Armed with nothing but his creative energy, the 24-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist got signed with Scoop Music and started working with producer Robert Stevenson (Mighty Oaks, Fil Bo Riva, Von wegen Lisbeth, and many more).

Day jobs as a construction worker and as a waiter paid for his demos. The tracks were mostly recorded at night at a friend's studio—Lejo played all of the instruments himself. With a backpack full of flash drives and his bio, he paid visits to every label he knew. And it paid off. Now he's all set to take German pop music to the next level with fresh ideas.
