Presented by: TONALi

Four outstanding talents of the non-profit project TONALi in epic collaboration will once again make their way to Hamburg this year. Nina Gurol, one of Germany’s top contemporary pianists and who has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at some of the world’s largest venues, from the WDR Funkhaus in Cologne to the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and the Guotai Arts Center in Chongqing, China. As a mezzo-soprano and transdisciplinary artist, Lea Luka Sikau is also at the forefront when it comes to new expressions of contemporary music - for her vision, she has already worked with Marina Abramovic, Jay Scheib or Julius von Bismarck, among others. To round things off, cellist Oliwia Meiser and pianist Yunus Tuncali also boast major collaborations: both are top-league young soloists, are currently studying with some of the most renowned music teachers in Europe and are virtuoso performers of their instruments. All four play with a passion unparalleled in this age category. An unforgettable evening is definitely in store for them in Hamburg.

With the significant participation of young people, the four have developed a sound, space and projection installation as part of a collaborative project between TONALi and the Reeperbahn Festival. The result: a participatory state of intoxication for the TONALi showcase audience.
