The Reeperbahn Festival 2021 is being planned with all due care and in close coordination with the relevant authorities in a 3G edition. 3G means that access to the festival can only be granted to those people who are either fully vaccinated, tested or recovered. Vaccinated, recovered, tested, what does that mean?
Persons are considered vaccinated if they have been vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine approved in the EU and if at least 14 days have passed since the last vaccine dose was administered. A current list of EU-approved COVID-19 vaccines as well as information on the required number of vaccine doses can be found on the PEI website: https://www.pei.de/impfstoffe/covid-19. Proof of complete vaccination includes vaccination certificates from CovPass, the Corona-Warn-App, and vaccination records in paper form. Also, please be sure to bring your ID card for verification.
Persons are considered recovered if they have had a confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection that occurred less than 6 months ago. Proof of a confirmed infection must be provided by direct pathogen detection (PCR) at the time of infection and must be certified by a physician. Proof of testing is a negative PCR test, not older than 48 hours or a negative rapid antigen test from an official testing station, no older than 24 hours (self-testing is not accepted). WHAT DO I NEED TO GET INTO THE VENUES?
#1 Check In / Check Out via QR Code at the Venues
→ For the tracking of contacts in case of infection as well as the overview of the capacities in the venues, log in via QR code when entering the venues and log out when leaving. Please download the PartyMate app in advance and enter your contact details before you arrive at the 3G counter. This will save you time on site and you can start right away. You only have to enter your data once, and then scan a QR code before each venue, or log out again when leaving.

Which venues are seated and which are not?
→ We strive to create a balance between seated and standing venues. We will announce which venues will be seated and how in a timely manner.
→ Please note: Seating is mandatory in seated venues.
#6 Controlled admission + routing
→ Admission for all locations will start 45 minutes before showtime. Please factor this into your evening planning due to limited capacity per venue. As soon as people leave the fully booked concert, late admission is possible to the same extent.
→ Admission at venues will be in gated lines where spacing rules and mask requirements apply. Wherever possible, we have established a one-way path. In addition, there will be separate waiting areas in front of venues where you can wait to be admitted to the respective venue while maintaining the minimum distance. What takes place when?
On our website you will find a list view of the program points in chronological order in the schedule, with the possibility to apply different filters. In the mobile app (for iOS and Android) you can create your personal schedule.
Where are the locations and how do I get there?
With the help of our mobile app and the map on the website, you will be guided through the jungle of clubs, theaters, cinemas and other playgrounds! The venues open about 45 minutes before the program starts. Be there as early as possible, so that you can switch to another program point, should there be an admission stop due to the capacity limit reached. In order to keep the waiting times as short as possible, there is also a regulation for taking bags (see above).
HOW IS IT ENSURED THAT I AM INFORMED IN THE EVENT OF AN INFECTION? ARE MY MOVEMENT PATTERNS OR DATA STORED?
Visitor data such as first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number will be collected in consultation with the authorities and in compliance with data protection laws when tickets are exchanged in one of the PartyMate apps. WHAT RULES APPLY TO MINORS AT THE FESTIVAL?
Legal regulations for the protection of minors apply at our event. We would like to explicitly note that the admission to events is not within our control. It is possible that minors are denied entry to a club on the Reeperbahn, especially at late hours. Please take this into consideration when purchasing a ticket. Student IDs, written permission from a parent or guardian or the like are generally not accepted.

The conference will also be available to experience digitally again. Tickets for our conference digital platform can be purchased in our ticket store (subject to availability). The ticket for the Digital Conference Platform does not entitle the holder to attend the program items on site.
DO I NEED A NEW WRISTBAND FOR EVERY DAY OF THE FESTIVAL?
If you have purchased a multi-day ticket, you will receive a wristband for your festival days. However, a daily additional 3G band is required for checking daily test status. This applies to both PCR testing and rapid antigen testing.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE IF I HAVE TRANSFERRED MY TICKET FROM 2020 TO 2021?

WHAT IS ON THE PROGRAMME AT THIS YEAR’S FESTIVAL?
Concerts: Details of artists appearing at the Reeperbahn Festival 2021 are continually posted here on our website. Our line-up of artists, which normally has a strong international feel, will this year primarily feature acts from Germany as well as others from across Europe.

Conference: This year’s Reeperbahn Festival conference programme features sectors with overlaps to the music industry such as film, games and advertising, and combines the best of the real and digital worlds – around 100 live on-site Sessions with 300 speakers as well as numerous partner events at venues on and around the Reeperbahn.
Formats such as the Helga! Festival Award and the VUT Independent Awards are also back as live events. Anyone unable to attend in person can tune in via the digital conference platform and either follow the entire Sessions programme via a live stream or access it on demand afterwards. In addition, the digital platform offers all delegates the chance to use the numerous chat, meeting and networking options for virtual networking.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has forced Tash Sultana to postpone her planned world tour until 2022, so unfortunately her performance at the Reeperbahn Festival 2021 has had to be cancelled.
