Dave Stewart Meets Michael Trautmann - Keynote Interview on Brands and Music
Music. Brands. (E)Motion.
Dave Stewart with a Keynote on Brands and Music.
Our focus on music for media and brands continues to grow with “music.brands.(e)motion”. Approximately 20 events devoted to this subject area are in the pipeline for this year’s conference. Today we’re pleased to announce the first highlights.
To start, there’s the keynote interview: Dave Stewart (ex-Eurythmics star, SuperHeavy, producer, entrepreneur, photo) will talk to advertising luminary Michael Trautmann (Thjnk, Vice-President, GWA, the Gesamtverband Werbeagenturen (Association of German Advertising Agencies)). They’ll explore the extent to which the creation of content for brands can and must emanate from the artist him- or herself and under what conditions this results in real gain for brand, agency, and artist. We’re thrilled that Dave Stewart – who was our keynote speaker in 2013 – will be returning to the Reeperbahn Festival!
Our other “music.brands.(e)motion” events will pursue this same theme: in talks, panels, presentations, interviews, and workshops, we’ll delve into the highs and lows of the triangular relationship between artist (music), agency (producer), and brand (film/games).
We’re presenting some of these sessions here – the rest will follow soon.
