Info on the festival start
All is set for Wednesday! Check out these important information before you enter the fray!
► Where do I get a ticket?
Tickets of all categories can be purchased from the Ticket Desk at Spielbudenplatz. Here you can also exchange your ticket for a wristband which you need to get access to the locations. This is where you will also find the guest list and the Media Desk. What's NEW: This year, the Ticket Desk is opposite the Panoptikum at Spielbudenplatz inside a big white tent. Opening hours: Wednesday: 12.00 p.m. - midnight; Thursday - Saturday: 10.00 a.m. - midnight.
► Where do I get information?
Assistance regarding all kinds of matters regarding the Reeperbahn Festival is available at the Info Desk at Spielbudenplatz. Moreover, this is where you can get merchandise, posters, the festival MAG and the festival timetable. You can recognise Info Desk colleagues by their snazzy Levi’s jeans jackets and shirts! Opening hours: Wednesday: 12.00 p.m. - midnight; Thursday - Saturday: 10.00 a.m. - midnight.
► What, where and when?
A programme overview is available on our website under "Programme" as well as part of the timetable. In addition, on every festival morning you can get the Reeperbahn Festival Timetable fresh off the press! Apart from an overview of all music or arts programme items as well as workshops and parties you will also find useful extra information on everything about the festival. The timetable is available at the Info and Ticket Desks as well as various locations.
► Is there a mobile version of all this?
In our App (for iOS and Android) you can view your personal timetable as well as music recommendations based on your personalised Spotify music library or Facebook likes. Push messages provide information on current events at the festival site. On activating Bluetooth, our Logbuch will record your festival route and provide you with bonus material such as acoustic sessions or interviews. Moreover, there is an audio guide for the Open Air Gallery.
► Where do I go when I'm hungry as a bear or fancy an in-between snack?
No matter whether you feel like having a delicious breakfast, a rich burger or a cup of strong coffee – we have found ten great places where you can enjoy something really tasty to satisfy your hunger and thirst during the Reeperbahn Festival. As a highlight, three of the participating restaurants and cafés will be the venues for our Eatery Sessions – intimate acoustic concerts by artists of our line-up. A special treat for the taste buds and the ears!
► Where do I get the Reeperbahn Festival shirt?
This year we have joined forces with Cleptomanicx and Frohstoff and produced a selection of snazzy pieces like shirts and beanies for you. Gym and jute bags are also available – all decorated with a hand-drawn motif! Our hoodies with a Reeperbahn Festival and FC St. Pauli print will keep you warm if it gets chilly. Available online and at the RBF16: Info Desk | Molotow | Uebel & Gefährlich | reeperbahnfestival.com
► Where can I listen concerts, even if I'm not there on all festival days?
If you are not at the RBF on all festival days you can listen via live stream on our website every evening. Together with NDR.de we will show Ray’s Reeperbahn Revue (Wed - Sat 5.00 p.m.), concerts, e.g.by Alex Vargas, Blossoms, Frances, Joy Denalane, JAIN, Jamie Lawson, Louane, VAN HOLZEN, Lido, Maxim, JONES, James Hersey, The Head and the Heart, Walking on Cars and a very special guest.
► Where are the locations and how do I get there?
Our Map, available in our mobile App and on our website, will guide you through the jungle of clubs, locations, hotels, cafés, restaurants, etc.! This year, we will employ more security personnel at Spielbudenplatz and at the entrances to Reeperbahn Festival locations. To avoid waiting time, please leave your rucksacks or large handbags at home – we are looking forward to seeing you!
► What can I see at the N-JOY Reeperbus and at the NDR Blue Backstage? On all festival days N-JOY will stage unplugged sessions of RBF16 acts in front of the vintage double-decker bus at Spielbudenplatz.
NDR Blue Backstage will turn the RF location Alte Liebe into a broadcasting studio on every Reeperbahn Festival day to feature live discussions with hosts and guests on current trends, the digital future of the music world and, of course, the best concerts at the Reeperbahn Festival!
► Hartelijk welkom!
The eleventh edition of the Reeperbahn Festival will also have a thematic country focus which this year is reflected in new up-and-coming artists from the Netherlands, in the sessions and networking events as well as the arts programme. For further information click here.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
