Alex Warnke

Alexander Warnke, born in 1984 (DE), began his career in the music industry in 1998, initially as a musician. He also ran the Indie Label Sweet Home Records from 2004 to 2014. After completing his studies in Media Management, he set up the Publishing and Neighbouring Rights divisions at the German distributor Cargo Records from 2012. This led to the creation of the independent neighbouring rights agency PRO Agency in 2018, which he has managed as Managing Director and co-founder ever since. 2021-2025, he was a member of the Council of Delegates of the German GVL. He is currently a member of the board of the Association of Independent Music Companies VUT and is actively involved at European level in the IMPALA working groups on copyright and collecting societies.
