Ali Burc

“I need a lawyer, but Ali handles it,” OG Keemo raps, loosely translated, in Tórshavn – and that pretty much sums up why Ali Burç is often the first person people turn to when problems arise, not just within his immediate circle. It’s no coincidence, then, that he’s affectionately known as: Ali handles it.

For years, he has worked alongside OG Keemo in management and has been active at Chimperator. For him, the job goes far beyond traditional management: developing artists over the long term, turning ideas into reality, building structures, and, ultimately, taking care of whatever needs to be taken care of.

Ali is part of the label Funkloch, founded by Funkvater Frank, where he works closely with Ramzey and brings physical passion projects from the Keemo bubble to life. Karlsruhe-based Eurothug has also been under Ali’s guidance for around two years now, helping him find and stay on the right path.

Label, management, live music – different fields, but always the same approach: work independently and focus on making things happen rather than talking about them. With his own festival süd:süd, Ali also creates a platform for music and culture beyond traditional industry structures.
