I sold party tickets out of my parents' house at 16. At 19 I chartered ships to take Norwegian students to the UK, which paid for my business degree. At 22 I ran marketing for one of Norway's largest restaurant and bar groups, 200 staff, and bought a few of the venues along the way.
At 28 I was putting on a festival in the Norwegian mountains and had to fax documents to go on sale. Every venue operator I spoke to, Hulen in Bergen included, told the same story. So my co-founder and I built TicketCo. A call from Sogndal Football Club pulled us into sport, and we have since handled more than €900m in ticket sales across 300,000 events in Europe.
I also co-founded Don't Forget Your Tickets, now the largest podcast in ticketing, because the people who actually run events rarely get the credit.
Next up: a podium spot on the global scene.
