Christine Preitauer, M.A., studied Media and Music with a focus on Strategic Management at Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, graduating in 2017. From 2019 to 2025, she served as Managing Director of the kreHtiv Network Hannover, where she had previously been responsible for projects focusing in particular on the music industry and creative ecosystems.

She has also contributed to various research and development projects on topics such as music cities, music ecosystems and creative value creation structures. Alongside her work at the structural and policy level, she has extensive hands-on experience in the music industry, including advising music professionals, managing an emerging band, and initiating and implementing a range of music projects in Hanover. She also founded Lower Saxony’s state association for the cultural and creative industries and served as its President from 2021 to 2025.

She is currently preparing a doctoral research project on co-organisers in creative ecosystems. She is also a qualified coach for teams and groups and a certified Innovation Manager.
