Dominique Casimir
Dominique Casimir is one of the most prominent female entrepreneurs in the European music industry. Following many years in international executive roles at BMG—most recently as Chief Content Officer—she oversaw the global repertoire business and developed innovative models for artist development, music rights, and strategic partnerships.
In 2024, she co-founded the Berlin-based entertainment company umn Entertainment alongside Maximilian Kolb and Justus Haerder. The company pursues an integrated, artist-first approach, bringing together artist management, recorded music, music publishing, and Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) services under one roof. Its focus lies on long-term career strategies, international market development, and new forms of collaboration between artists, rights holders, and partners. umn Entertainment’s portfolio includes, among others, Kontra K, Max Giesinger, KAMRAD, Fast Boy, and Turkish superstar Edis, as well as international management for Gianna Nannini.
Casimir focuses particularly on how the music industry is being transformed by streaming, artificial intelligence, new financing and equity models, and the rising value of music rights. She believes the industry is evolving from the traditional label model toward flexible, partnership-based corporate structures that increasingly integrate management, rights, capital, and technology. She applies this perspective both to the development of new artist careers and to strategic partnerships with international rights holders and companies.
