Dr. Niels Lutzhöft

As a Frankfurt-based IP partner, Niels leads the music subsector and is the Co-Head of the International Copyright & Design Group. His media and entertainment practice focuses on platforms, music and games as well as reputation management and defamation. Areas of advice include platform regulation under the EU Copyright Directive and the Digital Services Act, and IP-issues relating to the development and use of artificial intelligence. Copyright disputes over licenses, industrial design and adequate remuneration concern companies in different business areas, inside and beyond the media & entertainment sector. With a background in journalism (M.A.) and on-the-job journalism training at a public service TV station, Niels understands the logic of journalistic production and represents clients in defamation and reputation management litigation.
