Dr. Sara Furr

Sara Furr, PhD (she/her) is a consultant, educator, and equity strategist who brings over 20 years of experience advancing justice in organizations and institutions. As the Founder & CEO of Mayari Coaching and Consulting, Sara works with leaders and teams to build identity-conscious, equity-rooted cultures that honor both people and systems.

Sara has held leadership roles in higher education and the nonprofit sector, is a recognized voice in social justice education, and holds a PhD in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago. Outside of her work, she is a dancer, community builder, and a lifelong learner committed to liberation and collective thriving.
