Hannah Japes studied Cultural and Media Education with a focus on theatre, film and digital media. After working on cultural projects and festivals in Germany and New Zealand, she joined Stuttgart’s live music venue Im Wizemann, where she has been Director of Operations since 2018.

Alongside her work at Im Wizemann, Hannah has been involved with ClubKollektiv Stuttgart since 2019 and currently serves as its Chair. She is also an expert citizen member of the City of Stuttgart’s Committee for Culture and Media, representing perspectives from Stuttgart’s club and live music scene.
