Imke Machura

Hi! I’m Imke.

I spent more than a decade working in the music industry — as a booking agent, promoter, and product and label manager.

In 2017, I founded RAKETEREI. As a mentor, creative sparring partner, and partner in crime, I support female musicians* in building independent and profitable careers.

Since then, I’ve supported more than 500 releases by female musicians*, hosted over 200 episodes of the RAKETEREI podcast, and built the largest German-speaking online community for female musicians*, with more than 2,000 members.

I know both sides of the music industry: the perspective of the musicians* and that of the people behind the inboxes, streaming backends, and promo networks where your release needs to land in order for your music to be heard. That dual perspective is exactly what makes the difference.

RAKETEREI is the boost female musicians* need to navigate and succeed in the music industry.
