Jermain Raf­fing­ton

Jermain Raffington is a director and documentary filmmaker who transitioned into the world of film after a successful career as a professional basketball player. Born on May 1, 1985, in Hamburg, Raffington played in various European basketball leagues as well as for the German national team before discovering his passion for filmmaking. Raised in Freiburg im Breisgau, he spent several years living and working in the United States. With a strong interest in social and cultural issues, he quickly established himself as a filmmaker who both informs and inspires through his work.
