Knut Schlin­ger

Knut Schlinger has been working as an editor for MusikWoche since 1999. In mid-2015 and since 2018 he took over senior editorial roles at the trade magazine for the German music industry with its small but dedicated team. Since MusikWoche ramped up its operations in early 2026, he has also been on board as a partner in the new company. Prior to that, Knut, who holds a degree in literature, gained nearly ten years of experience in music retail and as a freelance writer.
