Laurin was born in 1992 and grew up in Munich. After graduating from high school, he decided to do a social internship working with mentally disabled people before completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter near Nuremberg. Having had enough of Bavaria, he moved to Leipzig, where he completed a bachelor's degree in cultural studies and another in political science. He continued his studies and earned a Master's degree in Information Design and Media Management, which led him directly to Signed Media and arte TRACKS, where he focuses on music, pop and subculture.In his spare time, Laurin makes music himself and has been lucky enough to tour all over Germany. He also loves rugby, beer and movies.
