Manfred Tari has been working in the music industry since 1987. From 1989 to 1998, he organised the concert programme for Musikmesse, and from 1999 onwards, he worked as a journalist, primarily for trade publications such as Musikmarkt, IQ-Magazin, Music & Copyright and Vip News. From 2004 to 2008, he worked on the conference programme for Popkomm, and since 2009 he has held the same position for the Reeperbahn Festival Conference in Hamburg.
