Martha Jokiel

Martha Jokiel, aka Newinfluenzer, is a DJ, graphic designer and promoter from Hamburg. Alongside her work as a DJ, Newinfluenzer is also actively shaping Hamburg’s club scene: with her collective EGYM, she organises club nights that deliberately break down boundaries and focus on experimental, genre-crossing sounds. Together with DJ Mell G, she also runs Juicy Gang Records, a label supporting underground and emerging artists and providing a platform for new acts.

As Resident Advisor’s City Manager for Hamburg, she is also committed to increasing the visibility of the local scene and representing it beyond the city’s borders.

Newinfluenzer is equally rooted in the music and cultural scene through her visual work. As a graphic designer, she has collaborated with artists and institutions including Helena Hauff, Jacob Kris and Tresor, and has created artwork and cover designs for acts such as L.F.T., Viikatory and Raavel. For Juicy Gang Records and EGYM, she develops visual concepts and contributes to their artistic direction, while also working on projects for festivals and institutions such as PollerWiesen and MOMEM in Frankfurt.
