Martijn Munk

I'm Martijn Munk, Executive Chair of Music Managers Forum Netherlands (MMF NL), the association for artist managers in the Netherlands, which has grown from 80 to 130 members since 2022. I represent MMF NL as Vice Chair at EMMA (European Music Managers Alliance), sit on the Ketentafel Pop at Platform ACCT at which we research how to implement fair pay in NL, am a member of the Fair Practice Working Group at Live DMA, and serve on the board of the Fair Pop Fund.

Alongside my policy work, I'm an artist manager and funding advisor for artists and non-profits with a background in Musicology (BA, University of Amsterdam) and Applied Musicology (MA, Utrecht University). Since 2020 I've guided artists, venues, and festivals through multi-year policy plans and grant applications, working with artists including Benny Sings, Froukje, Goldband, Naomi Sharon, Wende, Son Mieux, and Chris Stussy. The last 2,5 years I've been part of Dune Management, working with Son Mieux, RONDÉ, and The Indien.
