Martin Rabanus

Martin Rabanus is a member of the German Bundestag and spokesperson for cultural and media policy of the SPD parliamentary group. A political scientist by training, he has been engaged in cultural, media and education policy issues for many years. In addition to his parliamentary mandate, he also serves as Chairman of the German Adult Education Association (DVV).

As a spokesperson for cultural policy, Rabanus is particularly committed to strengthening the framework conditions for the arts and culture and to fostering a diverse and sustainable cultural landscape. At the Reeperbahn Festival, he brings the perspective of federal politics into dialogue with stakeholders from the music industry, the cultural sector and the live entertainment industry.
