Max Paproth

Maximilian Paproth founded his own music publishing company in 2001. This was followed by positions at Budde Music (2003–2013) as Synch Manager, A&R and Managing Director of Budde Music UK, and at Sony/ATV (2013–2018), where he most recently served as Head of A&R for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In 2018, he moved to Universal Music, initially as Senior Director A&R Central Europe. Most recently, as Vice President A&R Central Europe & International Marketing Germany, he was responsible for cross-border creative exchange and the international export of German-language repertoire.
Along the way, he completed his studies in European Business Administration and trained as an audiovisual media specialist.

Max returned to the publishing business in January 2025. As Managing Director & Global President A&R at Budde Music Publishing, he is responsible for the creative direction of the company internationally and for the strategic management of the company in Germany.
