Simon Leander Raschen

Simon Leander Raschen is a 28-year-old music producer, recording and mixing engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. Originally from the North Sea island of Wangerooge, he is now based in Münster, Germany.

He studied Music Production at the University of Music Münster for six years and brings over 20 years of experience as a drummer, as well as more than 10 years of experience playing guitar, keyboards, and bass. Working across genres ranging from indie pop and alternative rock to jazz, Simon draws on this versatility to give every production its own distinct character.

Alongside his studio work, Simon regularly takes the stage as a drummer, guitarist, or keyboardist, touring with a variety of projects. He has been working with Yamaha for over eight years and teaches masterclasses across Europe on vocal production, mixing, and recording.

With experience both on stage and behind the console, Simon combines technical expertise with creativity and a strong instinct for music.
