Tushar’s festival journey began on stage, smashing the electonic drums with the EDM (We don't call it EDM here) band Subgiant, and playing at hundreds of festivals. From the euphoric highs to the muddy fields (and more than a few dodgy toilets), he’s seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of life behind the scenes.
Armed with 15 years of festival know how and 30 years of experience as a developer (yes, he’s been coding since floppy disks were still a thing), Tushar set out to tackle one of the industry’s biggest headaches: festival management. The result? Festival Pro, a complete 360° platform that takes the chaos of large scale event planning and turns it into something that actually makes sense. Today, Festival Pro supports over 600 festivals worldwide, making organisers’ lives easier and audiences’ experiences smoother.
Tushar now leads an international team of festival experts who advise, guide, and sprinkle a little fairy dust into every event they touch. When he’s not planning the backstage revolution, he’s still touring with Subgiant, living in London, and remains the go to guy for the best food and cocktail spots in the city.
