Viktor Schach­erl

Viktor Schacherl is Event and Marketing Manager at Wavelab – the innovation lab and entrepreneurship hub at the Munich University of Music and Theatre. In this role, he supports forward-thinking projects in the cultural and creative industries and fosters sustainable connections between the arts, science, and business.Before focusing on the intersection of culture and technology, Viktor worked for several years as a music journalist – including roles as a presenter and editor at M94.5, and as a contributor to egoFM, MusikBlog, and Süddeutsche Zeitung.He also led the events and PR department at MEDIASCHOOL BAYERN, where he developed and curated club and festival formats – at venues such as Muffatwerk, Feierwerk, and Milla Club, and as a booker for festivals including ZAMANAND and Isarinselfest.Today, Viktor draws on his experience as a journalist, curator, event organizer, and networker to help shape Wavelab into a platform for technological innovation and interdisciplinary exchange within the music business.
