About

Reeperbahn Festival is both the largest club festival in Europe and an international platform for pop culture and the music industry. Once a year since 2006, we transform Hamburg’s Reeperbahn into the centre of the international music scene and provide the impetus for music, business, and society.

With our programme of around 1,000 concerts, conference sessions, and networking events, we promote new artists and bands over four days and support players in the music ecosystem in networking, exchanging knowledge, and attracting new talent. Our programme is aimed at music fans and music professionals alike from all sub-markets like recorded music, live entertainment, publishing, media, administration, and politics.

We focus on dialogue and exchange, view ourselves as international cultural ambassadors for the music scene, and closely follow economic developments in the industry. In addition, we are guided by our clear commitment to diversity, gender equality, and sustainability, which we want to share with our approximately 50,000 guests, including around 5,000 trade visitors from up to 50 nations. That’s how we drive political discourse in the context of the ecosystem of the music industry.

Reeperbahn Festival International

Through our international activities at relevant industry events around the world, we exchange ideas and draw attention to the relevance of the German and European music industry: At the creative trade fair South By Southwest, we represent the German and European music industry in the American market as part of an annual network meeting, which includes a showcase. Our colleagues visit industry events around the world to keep in touch with current topics. International delegations of music industry representatives travel around the globe as part of Reeperbahn Festival International, discover new musical territory, and build networks for music, business, and society. In that way, we support sustainable and long-term economic, cultural, and social developments and act as a link between the European and global music industries.

Keep up with the music industry and subscribe to our Conference Newsletter!
