Epilog
The music of Epilog is as much about the sell-out of existence in the new Twenties as it is about the beauty of sensibility. This experimental pop poet transforms feeling and becoming numb, the inner escape from the world, into an auditory intoxication that has no equal. With her EP “Kalte Knochen knacken besser” (2023) of two years ago, she already showed herself as a genuine DIY artist capable of completely rethinking contemporary pop music and transforming it into innovative sound collages. Swaying drum kits under shimmering synthesizers, an existential poem drowning between sensual delays and murmuring autotunes - for this sound wizardess, there’s no falling back on conventional songwriting. Quite the opposite in fact. Everything’s up for grabs, including our own listening habits. But if you dare to step out of your comfort zone, you’ll be rewarded with some of the most intense work by any German producer in recent times. Tracks such as “Knöchel” or “Melatonin” (2025) also highlight how this artist has consistently innovated, off the mainstream track. So, this Epilog isn’t a conclusion, it’s the end of the old - and the beginning of something completely new.
