Fat Dog
Like almost no other band in recent years, Fat Dog have turned the legendary London Windmill in Brixton into perhaps the UK’s most important club venue with their overwhelming sound design, blending New Rave, EBM and the dance-punk revival. The collective is notorious for their sprawling live shows, which mutate into sweat-drenched raves within minutes and force even the most reluctant dancers to shake their bodies ecstatically. Their debut album “WOOF.” (2024) now enjoys undisputed cult status, and not just in London. During their US tour, Fat Dog have also turned heads in droves across the pond with maximalist, demolition-style gigs and further honed their physical sound. So what else can be said about standout tracks like “King Of The Slugs” (2023) or “Pray To That” (2025)? It’s as if techno were composed in jazz form and then performed as punk rock. But with a manic energy that takes hold of you like a demon. It has to be experienced live, otherwise no one will believe you.
