Glazyhaze
The name says it all – and that’s truer than ever for Glazyhaze. The Venice-based quartet delivers a silky-smooth fusion of shoegaze, post-punk, and nostalgic Britpop, with a keen sense for melodies and emotional peaks. Early singles like “A Glimpse Of Light” (2023) and “What A Feeling” (2024) have already earned the band rave reviews from fans and critics alike. At once dreamy yet delightfully gritty, and further enhanced by singer Irene Moretuzzo’s deadpan vocals, the Glazyhaze sound is a sensual feast for romantics and dreamers, for those newly in love as well as for those who have suffered a painful breakup. The four members defy the usual comparisons to post-punk greats through their own reinterpretation of classic genre tropes. Dark and hopeful at the same time, catchy yet never predictable, atmospheric but also undeniably danceable, they aptly named their second album “Sonic” (2025) and blew even the biggest naysayers away. If you don’t believe it, come see for yourself in September.
