With their bold and confident style, Lime Garden has secured a spot in the sun on the beaches of the British indie scene. Even before the Brighton-based quartet released their first album, they were already playing shows at some of the UK’s most popular festivals: Green Man, Latitude, Reading and Leeds Festival, and others. With a captivating blend of indie and surf rock, spiced with post-punk and alternative dance, they turned their debut “One More Thing” (2024) into a hit streamed millions of times, establishing itself across generations as “Wonk Pop.” Influences range from Charli XCX and Arctic Monkeys to LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, and Working Men’s Club—and far beyond. The musical framework is thus deliberately broad, giving the electronically underpinned indie-pop arrangements plenty of room to fully unfold. The second album, “Maybe Not Tonight” (2026), is set to be released this year and will logically take the creative fusion of diverse variations on the classic band setup up a notch or two.
