Modern punk, summed up in a nutshell? You could say that. With one eye, REDD. looks back to the early 2000s, when skate punk à la Blink 182, Sum 41 and Avril Lavigne was all the rage. With the other, they draw inspiration from the best of today’s rappers and pop artists to craft a rather unique signature sound that transcends fleeting trends. Singles like “Bad Days” or the brilliantly clever breakout track “Jeans So Baggy” (2025) have made the Australian singer, songwriter and rapper a household name not just at flat-share parties and festivals down under. With a cheeky ‘no-fucks-given’ attitude and plenty of audiovisual flair, REDD. has already made the leap across the Pacific and is gradually gaining a foothold in the US and here in Europe. He’s still something of an insider tip, shuttling between London and Ljubljana, but that could soon change in light of his debut album “RAUNCH” (2025) and his latest single “juliet” (2026). Anyone wanting to experience live just what a multi-talented artist is currently taking off will have a rare opportunity to do so here in September.
