Just over five years ago, SOFY launched her career at an impressive pace, delivering a standout performance on BBC Radio 1, playing to sold-out venues and being hailed as a major newcomer on the London music scene. Even she hadn’t anticipated things moving so fast. But with singles like “Big Talk” (2022) and “Socks” (2023), the passionate bedroom producer has struck a chord with Gen Z. Her debut mixtape “Chaos & Commotion” (2023) also went through the roof on all platforms upon release, racking up millions of streams. Armed with an authentic indie sound blending 90s Madchester vibes, summery surf rock and alt-pop, she has consistently carved out her own niche over the last few years and knows how to fully realise it artistically, even in times of fast-moving trends. Last year saw the release of “Another Day In Paradise” (2025), another mixtape which she presented on a quickly sold-out headlining tour, thereby definitively establishing herself as one of the UK’s most interesting pop artists. So it’s high time she came back to Hamburg for another visit.
