Ponyclub Circus | The Person you are calling…

A cable connection sparks a conversation about personal and political shortcomings – told through hold music, queer perspectives, and partner acrobatics. Sound bizarre? Welcome to the world of Ponyclub Circus, a contemporary circus company based between Leipzig and Cologne.

Their message: Blue is our state of being. Having come of age in an era when hopelessness colours everything, we counter this certainty with a tender, defiant will to survive. In a world that has long been at breaking point due to the exercise of colonial power, we cling to one another – not because we have to, but because it feels like a space of possibility.

The result: a feminist, political, and entertaining circus.
