But how can the tensions between urban planning, residents’ interests, the cultural industries, and tourism be addressed constructively? Taking the recent study on Hamburg’s night-time economy as a starting point, the panel will discuss how analyses can be translated into concrete strategies and measures for the city.

The aim is to bring together best-practice examples, political perspectives, and local approaches, while fostering exchange between public administration, the creative scene, and urban development.
