The night-time economy is a key driver of culture, urban development, and Hamburg’s international visibility. But how can the tensions between urban planning, residents’ interests, the cultural industries, and tourism be addressed constructively? Taking the recent study on Hamburg’s night-time economy as a starting point, the panel will discuss how analyses can be translated into concrete strategies and measures for the city.

The aim is to bring together best-practice examples, political perspectives, and local approaches, while fostering exchange between public administration, the creative scene, and urban development.
