Alessa Wiegand

Alessa Wiegand is co-founder of the GEMA Networks for women and female-identifying individuals, which promote diversity and are committed to visibility and support both within the organization and for its members. She is an attorney specializing in copyright, media, and music law. After working at a mid-sized business law firm and at The Walt Disney Company (Germany) GmbH, she has been advising GEMA for several years, currently as Senior Legal Counsel. Her focus is on issues related to licensing, digital business models, and the intersection of law, creativity, and technology.
