Kerstin Mayer

Since 2020, Kerstin has been working as an independent funding consultant, advising musicians on applying for and implementing funding projects, as well as conducting workshops and seminars. In addition, she takes on project management and leadership tasks—for example, in recent years, she has developed a consulting point for self-employed musicians at Pro Musik Verband and coordinated a knowledge database for event organizers at Bundesstiftung LiveKultur.

She has also been involved in voluntary work, serving on the board of the German Association for Popular Music (BV Pop) since 2022 and joining the advisory board of the Berlin Music Commission in 2024. In her free time, she is passionately dedicated to building a FLINTA* choir.

At Act Aware, Kerstin is responsible for the administrative management of the ACTS ACT project, which trains artists on the topic of awareness at their concerts and within their teams.
