How can artists, event organizers, and awareness teams share responsibility? What role do power structures, access, and attitude play in concerts?

With the new project ACTS ACT – aware in concert, we are developing practical concepts together with artists to foster greater solidarity in the cultural sector. Our insights and experiences feed directly into this workshop.

Participants can expect three in-depth discussion rounds with experts from different fields. In small groups, they will rotate through moderated stations, gaining honest insights, practical examples, and new perspectives to apply to their own work and impact.

Station 1 – Perspective: Awareness Team
With Teresa Hähn (Co-founder of Act Aware e.V.)

What works – and what doesn’t? Using concrete examples, Teresa shares dos and don’ts from awareness work in the concert context.

Station 2 – Perspective: Event Organizers
With Nadine Kiala (c/o pop Festival)

How can awareness be integrated into event planning? Nadine discusses challenges, decision-making processes, and effective approaches from a festival perspective.

Station 3 – Perspective: Artists
With Power Plush (Band)

What does responsibility look like from an artistic point of view? Singer Mia and manager Luisa share insights, personal experiences, and learnings from their touring life.
